Lockdown Spring 2 Week 1 (w/b 22.2.21) - Reading and Spelling

Welcome back Year 2 - we hope you had a good week at home with your family and had some well deserved rest and play time.

This week in Spelling (Tuesday 23.2.21 and Thursday 25.2.21) we are learning another new rule - the 'o' sound spelt 'a' when it comes after 'w', 'wh' or 'qu'

In Reading (Monday 22.2.21, Tuesday 23.2.21 and Thursday 25.2.21) we are making predictions about our new story "Twinkle, Twinkle, Squiglet Pig" that Miss Sweet has recorded a video of for you to watch, then answering comprehension questions about the story.
