Dobcroft Reading Spine

At Dobcroft we all love reading, and so we’ve handpicked 12 books for each year group to share this love of reading with the children too. As children we enjoyed books like ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle, and we want to encourage our children to enjoy the same experiences as us, and also to sharing our reading history. All of these books are high quality texts. Some of the books chosen are old classics, but we’ve also included books from new authors too. We have copies of all of these books in school for each year group, but you may wish to share them at home too. Happy reading!
