Class: Hedgehogs Year: 2020 - 2021

Hi all,

We have had a very busy week in Hedgehogs class this week with lots of exciting learning.

In maths we learned about doubling numbers and write equations for doubles.

In English we have sequenced the story of the Deep Dark Wood and innovated our own version which we are going to be writing next week.  We loved coming up with our own terrible creatures and monster best friends.

In PSHE we have been learning about Putting Things Right with our friends and peacful problem solving.

In History we learned what a timeline is and even made our own personal timelines of significant events in our lives.

We have also been learning and practising a poem and christmas songs for our altnerative celebrations this year.

Copies of our poem to be learned have been sent in book bags, please let me know if you need another copy this is not a problem.  All children have also been given a bauble to decorate with a message for the class on as an alternative to christmas cards this year.  If you should need another please don't hesitate to get in touch.
