A visit from the History Van

Lesson: History

We had a fabulous day going back in time! Florence Nightingale's grandma Mrs Shaw came to visit us. We wrote an old fashioned letter, made an old herbal remedy, dressed up as nurses and soldiers to clean up the hospitals and stamped our own Sheffield steel knives. 

It was a great day and we finished it with a homecoming parade for Florence!
