The Rights Respecting Council, chaired by Mrs Holmes and Miss Hughes, is made up of 2 elected pupils from each class from Year 1 & 2. These councillors attend half-termly meetings and discuss issues and ideas they have to make our school even better. They hold class meetings to ensure all their classmates’ views are listened to and taken onboard and feed this back at the next meetings. Over the past few years we have collected food for the Catherdral Archer Project that helps local people in need, raised money for different charities and met with Taylor Shaw who produce our school dinners to taste test new options and report back with our class’ opinions. The Rights Respecting Council have also ran an initiative to try and clean up paths around our school grounds.
