Happy 50th Birthday Dobcroft

On Friday 27th September we all celebrated Dobcroft turning 50 years old.  We had an amazing day.  In our History learning we thought all about the History of schools thinking about how schools have changed and stayed the same over time.  We also looked at pictures of schools and discussed whether they were from the past or present.

We also decorated buns and biscuits so that they whole school could have something tasty to eat for our celebrations in the afternoon.  In the afternoon we all sang a Dobcroft version of Dancing in the Street, ate our biscuits and buns, and gave in the things that we had made for a time capsule that we are going to bury.

We had lots of fun, and really enjoyed 50 years of the school being open.
